TRAINING
This is an overview of the different proofs
required in proving an employment discrimination case. There are five
courses offered in the Affirmative Action Professionals Curriculum. 1)
Introduction to Affirmative Action; 2) Workplace Law Essentials; 3) Sexual
Harassment Prevention; 4) Advanced Affirmative Action and Compensation
Analysis; 5) Theories of Discrimination.
COURSES
INTRODUCTION TO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
Participants learn the basic tools of
Affirmative Action including Jurisdiction, the formation of Job Groups,
Availability, Utilization and Impact Ratio Analysis.
WORKPLACE LAW ESSENTIALS
This is an overview of workplace laws including
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Americans with
Disabilities Act, Sexual Harassment laws, Affirmative Action, Family
Medical Leave Act and Wrongful Termination.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION
This course is designed to train managers on the procedures to take to
prevent sexual harassment from occurring and what to do when issues arise.
ADVANCED AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
This is designed to teach the technical mechanics of scrutinizing availability,
applicant flow, promotions, terminations and compensation.
THEORIES OF DISCRIMINATION
This course gives an overview of the different theories of discrimination and the
different elements involved in proving a discrimination case.
Affirmative Action Professionals will also tailor a course to
meet a company's specific training needs.
